We will have a limited number of pasture boarding opportunities on our 10 acre facility located in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Available late spring 2019.
Boarding is partial care & semi co-op. You buy your hay & grain (delivery available from Pittsboro Feed) and the farm feeds the horses 2x daily Mon-Fri.
Boarders must commit to 3 feedings per month on the weekends. The boarder has choice of AM or PM, Saturdays or Sundays (in a typical month there are 16 options for weekend feedings). For example; AM feeding on Saturday the 2nd and AM feeding on Saturday the 16th. Boarders also must be willing to take care of the farm & horses when the farm owners occasional go out of town (vacation, emergencies, etc.). Since the horses are pasture kept the feeding routine should not take over 45 minutes.
Amenities will include dressage arena, cavaletti & jumps, trail obstacles, creek, bridle path around the property.
Our property is located in a cluster of small neighborhoods that have several horse properties. While there are no ‘trails’ is not uncommon to see someone from another farm out hacking through the neighborhoods.
